HAYDEN PANETTIERE – DEBUT ALBUM COMING SOON!!

Heroes actress Hayden Panettiere has promised that her debut album will be “eclectic”.

The 18-year-old, who releases her debut single ‘Wake Up Call’ on August 4, said the music would reflect her diverse personal tastes.

“They’re a little bit eclectic,” she told Entertainment Weekly. “They are very different, very diverse.”

Panettiere also revealed that her forthcoming album has been a work in progress for four years.

“The music changed so much over the years,” she said. “Just because my life experiences and who I am as a person is obviously reflected in the music.”

When asked about her favourite musicians, Panettiere named Luciano Pavarotti and hip-hop star Nas.

JAZZY JEFF – WILL’S NOT CHANGED!!

DJ Jazzy Jeff has claimed that Will Smith’s success in Hollywood has not changed his character.

Smith’s former rap partner said the actor was just as down-to-earth now as when he first recorded music with him.

“He’s the biggest movie star on the planet, but he’s still the same Will - the same good guy,” Jeff told People magazine .

“He’s just a little harder to get in touch with.”

When asked about Smith’s marriage to Jada Pinkett Smith, he replied: “He’s a hard worker. Will works like that at everything.

“You got to put in hard work to make relationships work and that’s what he does with Jada.”

Smith and Jeff recorded five studio albums together between 1987 and 1993, including Code Red, Homebase and Rock The House.

Coldplay have made new track ‘Death Will Never Conquer’ available for free.

Fans can download the previously-unreleased song from the band’s official website.

Chris Martin’s group released the tune to celebrate the start of their world tour, which opened at Los Angeles Forum yesterday.

The song is based around Chris Martin’s piano and features the lyric: “One day death is gonna conquer me / I’ll be down where the waters flow / I hope sweet heaven is the place for me.”

Writing on the site, the band said: “To say thank you to everyone who’s bought tickets and supported us, here’s a new song called ‘Death Will Never Conquer’.

TOM JONES –I’D LOVE TO WORK WITH DUFFY!!

Tom Jones has revealed that he wants to work with fellow Welsh popstar Duffy.

Speaking at the Grammy Foundation’s Starry Night Gala, the ‘Sexbomb’ singer named Duffy as his ideal duet partner.

“Duffy, you know because she’s Welsh,” he said. “And she can sing, not just because she’s Welsh. I’d like to do something with her.”

Jones’s 1999 album Reload was comprised of 15 duets, including collaborations with Welsh acts Stereophonics and Cerys Matthews.

Duffy recently disclosed that Americans often mistake Tom Jones for her dad.
